More and more automobile manufacturers use the advantages of gluing technology to connect carbody parts. In the Suzuki plant in Hungary the heavy-duty adhesives are transferred by means of a WIWA Vulkan plunger pumps, which deliver the adhesive to a dosing device on the robot arm.

However, the traditional application for adhesives is the gluing of wooden components. Also here state-of-the-art manufacturing and bonding methods enable an almost infinite number of possible applications. A WIWA DUOMIX low pressure application system can e.g. be used for uniform material transfer for precise and neat bonding of wooden surfaces in series production.
