Description

Coating systems for sizing.

Coatings form a necessary boundary or barrier layer between sand and metal and are intended to ensure good removability of the casting from the molding material after casting. Coatings are applied in liquid form by spraying, for example with a WIWA low-pressure pump.
Styrofoam and sand models are coated. The coating is intended to reduce the surface roughness of the molds and cores and thus help to achieve smooth casting surfaces.
By applying the coatings with WIWA airless technology (airless spraying), there is significantly less overspray compared to air atomizing systems.
Two device variants are available.
